'Deadpool 2' tries to have it both ways

Josh Brolin admits he ‘hated’ The Goonies for a really long time

Turns out Josh Brolin was NOT a fan of The Goonies

Between his status as Deadpool 2's star and one of the masterminds behind the franchise, Ryan Reynolds could probably be expected to set his own schedule for the film's promotion.

No, not his accelerated healing factor - his ability to surprise. There's nothing particularly great or memorable, and that's a shame given Leitch's inventiveness on previous films like John Wick and Atomic Blonde.

First and foremost, Deadpool goes back to the beginning of Deadpool 2 and saves his girlfriend Vanessa from being murdered by a gangster he let get away in the film's opening shootout.

Reynolds, 41, praised the impeccable voice work done by voice acting ace Nolan North in the game, as well as the design of Deadpool's derriere: "He's got a really nice butt".
