Drake Silenced by the National Basketball Association on the Raptors' Sidelines

NBA reportedly issues warning to Drake after verbal exchange with Cavs' Kendrick Perkins

NBA Gives Drake Warning Over 'The Use Of Bad Language'

He's become the face of the team and a source of courtside inspiration at home games over the years, so it's not surprising he shared heated words with an opposing player recently.

The NBA has a fan code of conduct that calls for spectators to behave without disruption.

At halftime and immediately following the Cavaliers' 113-112 overtime victory over the Raptors, Drake verbally scrapped with Perkins.

Canadian rapper Drake and Cavs player Kendrick Perkins got into a war of words during halftime and then once again after the Cavs defeated the Raptors.

The warning occurred after Drizzy threatened Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kendrick Perkins with the fade. "I mean, really. If he leaves me alone, I'll leave him alone, and that's all there is". Drake later wrote on Instagram: "I just said I liked the hem on his capris". "He said something slick, so I said something back: 'Sit your ass down and watch the game'".

So while Drake is still allowed at games he has to be on much better behaviour while he's there.

"'I'm fine. What's he going to do?,' said Perkins, who stands 6'10" and weighs 270 lbs, with a smirk.

Too Short thinks it's hilarious that Drake got an official warning from the National Basketball Association over his NSFW trash talk - and says the Toronto Raptors would be better off if he never opened his mouth in the first place!

The Raptors hosted game two on Thursday and Cleveland won 128-110.
