Israeli tank shelling killed three members of the Palestinian militant group Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, medical officials said, after weeks of border protests that have drawn lethal army fire.
The drone was said to have been recovered in one piece, according to the IDF, and an investigation into the incident has been opened.

An independent inquiry into the 2014 war in Gaza by the UN Human Rights Council concluded that "the tunnels were only used to conduct attacks directed at IDF (Israeli army) positions in Israel in the vicinity of the Green Line, which are legitimate military targets".
The bombing was a response to an explosive device placed on Saturday near the border fence between Gaza and Israel, according to the army.
The baby reportedly may not have been killed from tear gas shot by Israeli soldiers on the Palestinian protesters, part of a series of protests dubbed the "Great March of Return", but rather died from a preexisting condition.
The military also said the air strike was payback for "continued attempts to sabotage security infrastructure, during the riots constantly led by the Hamas terror organization". No injuries were reported in the incident.
