"I think without giving anything away, we're at the point now with Marvel as a company looking for what happens post-Avengers 4, and there are a lot of ideas on the table that are really exciting". But not only did he thank fans, he hinted that he might return as Thor after the events of Avengers 4.
On Tuesday, "Avengers" added just under $27 million to its global total, with half of that revenue coming from China, where the film is coming off of an astounding $200 million opening weekend.
The other films that have reached that mark are "Avatar" ($2 billion); "Titanic" ($1.5 billion), "Furious 7" ($1.165 billion); "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" ($1.131 billion); "Jurassic World" ($1.019 billion); and "The Fate of the Furious" ($1.009 billion). The film continues to smash records left right and center and, I've said it before and I'll say it again - it's all thanks to you guys.
In Moore's interview with ComicBook.com, he announced that the Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) phase four consists of characters that fans have met before and a whole new set of fresh characters. "We're going to keep trying to crank them out for you, if you let us". He's merely an actor.

Co-directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Infinity War features a massive ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Zoe Saldana and Chris Pratt.
When you combine Thor's recently expanded role, rejuvenated portrayal, fans wanting more, and the fact that Ragnarok director Taika Waititi has said he'd be happy to come back to the MCU specifically for more Thor movies...it looks like we're going to see the God of Thunder do his thing for a whole lot longer. But since this is a limited edition device, we expect to see only a single variant.
