Not sure if you are registered to vote?
Close races are anticipated Tuesday, especially in a number of legislative districts, including key seats in the state Senate. If you are a registered Virginia voter but do not have an acceptable photo ID, free voter photo IDs are processed at all of Virginia's 133 local general registrars' offices.
The polls are open here in Butler County (and statewide) until 8 p.m.
There are also some statewide races of note, including three-person Democratic and Independent Party primaries for governor and a 10-way race for the GOP nomination for the Oregon's highest office as well as the three-way nonpartisan contest for labor commissioner.
- The winners of Tuesday's primaries advance to compete in the November 6 general election. If you have any questions about this, please contact Lewis and Clark County Election Office by calling 406-447-8339 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, or ask the election judge at the polls.
- Voters must be affiliated with the Republican Party in order to vote in the Republican primaries.
