Monday was not a great day for baseball in NY. Maybe he should stay away from Yankee Stadium on his birthday.

Rudy Giuliani just wanted to take a day out of his exhausting routine of ranting and raving like a lunatic to celebrate his beloved Yankees in the city that made him a national figure.

Rudy Giuliani didn't have the best birthday on Monday.

Instead of cheers, the crowd booed at the mention of Giuliani's name.

But he may be more known now for his role as a lawyer for President Trump, advising the president on Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.

Then boos started filling Yankee Stadium.

The former NY mayor has seen a dip in popularity since becoming Donald Trump's legal counsel. Speaking with anchor Dana Bash, the president's legal adviser admitted much of the president's assertions about "Spygate" were "an intentional strategy to undermine the investigation".

"Thunderous boos rained across the stadium", one commenter posted on Twitter. The Yankees were turning in a tepid Memorial Day performance, losing to the Houston Astros 5-1 in the 9th inning.
