Atletico Madrid's 3-0 win over Marseille in Wednesday's Europa League final was a sore one for their opponents, but it does mean some good news for French sides ahead of next season's Champions League.
Atletico are celebrating winning the Europa League final last night, but Lacazette says: "If it was odd to play against Atlético Madrid that I could join a year ago? No".
But, with Marseille's hopes of a direct route straight into the Champions League group stage only thwarted until the weekend, Garcia could feel very differently if the final round of Ligue 1 matches do not go in Marseille's favour.
"Griezmann today confirmed what he has been doing year by year".
"I hope he is happy with us".
"I don't think it's the time to talk about my future", Griezmann said.
'But the Europa League has given me a lot, and if we have to play it, we will play to win it.

Griezmann struck again four minutes after the break, before Gabi sealed the win and the celebrations began.
Four minutes into the second half, Griezmann started and finished the move for his second.
He athletically won a high ball in midfield and quickly swapped passes with Koke before gliding into the penalty area unchallenged and delicately clipping the ball over the onrushing Mandanda.
Marseille lost every ounce of their creativity when Dimitri Payet was forced off in tears with an injury 30 minutes and they were well beaten.
Marseille wasted some opportunities to get back in the game, with Atletico controlling the pace.
Marseille fans were given a first-half warning over the stadium speakers to stop letting off flares and firecrackers or the game would be stopped.
Captain Gabi added a third before the end as Griezmann won the first major honour of his career, but the win was marred by the worry that it could be the Frenchman's final game in Atleti colours.
