Heather Locklear arrested for punching police officer and kicking EMT

Heather Locklear was arrested Sunday in California

Heather, who was booked on two counts of misdemeanor battery, was taken to a hospital first for evaluation before her trip to jail.

Locklear is known for her roles in Dynasty, T.J. Hooker and Melrose Place.

Despite her protests, Locklear was brought to the hospital and then sent to jail, where she was reportedly booked for two counts of misdemeanor battery and is now being held on $20,000 bail. Later, when paramedics arrived, she reportedly kicked the EMT.

According to the dispatch audio, the original 911 call was a hangup, but the dispatcher could hear a female cursing in the background of the call.

On Monday, Locklear was released from prison, less than 12 hours after her arrest. The out-of-control actress, 56, was arrested again late last night, RadarOnline.com can confirm.

Once a primetime queen, Locklear has had a string of trouble. TMZ revealed that police and medical personnel showed up at her home on June 17 after she allegedly choked her mom and attacked her dad and threatened to kill herself. She's been hit with 2 charges of misdemeanor battery, and she's still facing four counts of allegedly hitting deputies during a March search of her home.

The actress had a previous brush with the authorities in 2008, when she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription medication. Additionally, Locklear and ex-fiance Jack Wagner were ordered to appear in court in 2012 after a violent fight.

"That person was evaluated there and was later transported to a local hospital for further treatment". Locklear last appeared in the TV series Close to Home and filmed a guest spot on Fresh Off the Boat.
