Respawn Entertainment Announces Jedi: Fallen Order, Coming Holiday 2019

Said EA Executive VP Patrick Soderlund in a 2016 blog post, "Over the past few years, I've had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with [Respawn founder] Vince Zampella and his group". This means that players will be living in the era between Star Wars Episodes 3 and 4, when the Jedi are being hunted down and exterminated. Maybe. It's a Star Wars game with a huge lead time - it could be canceled!

The studio first announced the game past year. No other details were released during the EA Play conference regarding this title.

Plus, we know from the Darth Vader (2017) comic that Quinlan Vos is indeed alive, so how fantastic would it be to play him in the Star Wars storyline, if they do in fact include it within the game's contents? Fallen Jedi Order is the next game to be published by Electronic Arts under the exclusive deal with Disney to create licensed console games under the Star Wars brand following the original Battlefront and its very controversial sequel from previous year.

According to IGN.com, Respawn CEO Vince Zampella teased the brand new addition to the Star Wars gaming collection. It's unclear if there will be a multiplayer mode at this time.

Hopefully, Jedi Fallen Order will be a polished experience when it launches next year.
