Willian was not satisfied regarding Antonio Conte's coaching.
Willian insists there is "no chance" he would still be a Chelsea player if Antonio Conte had remained in charge at Stamford Bridge, Skysports reports.
With the winger's future being such a talking point in the window, he has now confirmed he would have left the London club if Maurizio Sarri had not replaced the former Italy manager.
The 30-year-old Brazil global assisted N'Golo Kante's opening goal as Chelsea recorded a 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town in Sarri's first league match in charge last Saturday.
Conte also banned a wide selection of foods in the training ground canteen and also in hotels when the club travelled for away games. I want to be scoring goals, creating goals and, towards the end of the season, there will hopefully be a prize, with a trophy or a couple of trophies.
"That's why he (Sarri) talked about "fun" football".
"It's a new season, we all start from zero again, and that is the way our job is", Kante told the Mirror.
Sarri will be hoping that the improved mood in the dressing room will lead to a better season than the 2017/18 campaign, when Chelsea's immediate title defence saw them finish in fifth place in the Premier League.
Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley has revealed that he is keen to "keep learning" during his first full season at Stamford Bridge.
The ex-Napoli boss said: "He is playing like a centre right-midfielder and I am very happy for the performance of Kante, especially when I think he only arrived with us on Monday. Now we have a different style, that's why we can create problems for Arsenal", Willian added.
