There is an endless buzz around Kanye West's conversion to MAGA hats, free speech, and meetings with President Trump in the White House.

In June, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star convinced Trump to pardon Alice Marie Johnson - a 63-year-old who was serving a life sentence for a first time nonviolent drug offence - after meeting with him a month before.

On Thursday, Jared Kushner's Trump's son-in-law is scheduled to meet with Ye first, according to two sources, the New York Timesreports.

Thursday's meeting is expected to focus on reforming the justice system and creating more jobs for convicts after they are released from custody.

This will be the second time that Trump and West have met (that we know of).

However, West returned to Twitter more radical than ever this April, calling Trump a "brother" who shares his "dragon energy", amid a flurry of self-love affirmations and conservative musings.

Done: Beyonce and Jay-Z are not happy with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. "Thank you, Kanye West", Trump said.

West caused a stir after the season premiere of "SNL" on September 30 when he launched into a pro-Trump monologue while wearing a red "Make America great again" cap at the end of the show.

ET Canada has contacted West's rep for further comments. I'ma break it down to you right now.

West later received praised from Trump, who tweeted that he did not watch but heard "Kanye was great". "You see they laughing at me", West said. Previously, West revealed that he was encouraging Colin Kaepernick to sit down with the President.

On Monday, the singer-songwriter Taylor Swift endorsed two Democrats for the USA mid-term elections, prompting Mr Trump to tell reporters that he likes "Taylor's music about 25% less now".
