This marked the final cold open for SNL 2018, and the parody included notable actors including Alec Baldwin returning as Trump, Ben Stiller as Michael Cohen, Robert De Niro as Robert Mueller and host Matt Damon returned as Brett Kavanaugh.
It was Sunday morning that Trump brought into question the rights of SNL to be able to make fun of elected officials.

SNL's 2017 episode featured a tree-trimming party at the White House, at which various members of the Trump administration arrived to deliver ornaments for the tree. Back in 2016, he accused the show of being a part of a larger media conspiracy aimed to prevent him from becoming president and criticized Baldwin's portrayal of him. Alec Baldwin, of course, assumed his position to portray Trump. "Alec Baldwin, whose dying mediocre career was saved by his awful impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing me was agony", the president wrote in March.
The president himself is no fan of "Saturday Night Live" or Baldwin's impression of him.
