Now, a popular weapon from the mobile title has a made a return in the spotlight thanks to the appearance of the Infinity Blade sword in Season 7 of Fortnite. A huge portion of the island in the southwest is all new, with new buildings, an airport (more on that in a second) and tons of other places to check out. Planes can be found in the new Frosty Flights location and Expedition outposts. Both of the new ways to travel will be a big twist to Fortnite's usual battle royale gameplay, and I'll be interested to see how they affect the game as the season goes on.

A new item type was also added: Wraps!

It allows players to "design games, race around the island, battle your friends in new ways, and build your dream 'Fortnite,'" the studio said in a blog post.

Those not picking up the battle pass can get access to Creative Mode on December 13th. Shadow Stones, Port-a-Forts, Chillers, Clingers, the Double Barrel Shotgun and Shockwave Grenade have all been vaulted (Epic says it helps it avoid duplicates or overlapping functionality). The week 1 challenges have arrived and task players with 'Dancing on top of a crown of RV's.' Here's where the crown of RVs, metal turtle, locations are for the Season 7 week 1 challenge.

As of this morning, Fortnite season 7 is now live, and as ever a new season of Fortnite means a drastic change to the map, themes, and content of the game. Developer in partnership with Chair Entertainment back in 2010, Infinity Blade was the first IOS game to run on the Unreal Engine.
