Fox host Steve Doocy was interviewing Rock when the rocker suddenly started talking about the United States' current political division.
"People need to calm down, get a little less politically correct and I would say you know, love everybody".
The announcement came less than 24 hours before the parade makes its way through the streets of downtown Nashville after a fall out involving Kid Rock, who was previously named grand marshal of the parade. "All I can say is, this b**ch and these b**ches would be happy to have you on the show and have a beer", she said. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, and Tennessee Holiday Productions said they have invited James Shaw Jr., saying the grand marshal in Saturday's parade should personify the spirit of the Nashville community. His actions likely saved the lives of many more people in the restaurant, as the shooter had already killed four people and was about to shoot more.
Of course, Kid Rock was nonplussed and only double-downed on his sentiments, issuing another back-handed apology on Twitter in which he channeled his Joe Dirt villain, adding, "Mess with the bull, you get the horns".
According to WSMV, a local NBC News affiliate, Nashville's mayor expressed reservations about attending the parade if Kid Rock were part of it.
In a tweet, he wrote, "I will not be participating in tomorrow's Nashville Christmas parade. Listen, she's just got a different point of view than you do". "I will say that what surprises me about Bob, that's his real name, doing this", she said, using Kid Rock's real name, Bob Ritchie, who apparently recently did hold a bipartisan event with Sean Penn about bringing the country together.
