Bandersnatch, the film is set in the 1980s and follows a young programmer (played by Dunkirk's Fionn Whitehead) who struggles to adapt the titular Bandersnatch novel into a video game. Hopefully Bandersnatch will be another compelling entry into the Black Mirror universe. But when it comes to the creepy sci-fi series, we can't help but tune in.
"Bandersnatch" was directed by David Slade, who slipped in a rather obvious nod to his previous Black Mirror segment "Metalhead".
Black Mirror explores the negative impact new technology can have on the modern world in a satirical manner.
There have been reported doing the round that the Bandersnatch movie will be five-hour long.
The film hits the streaming service on Friday.

It's not certain how much of an inspiration Carroll was for this feature-length special, however, it can be concluded that it is largely inspired by the real 1984 video game.
