Marcus Morris explains why he called out his team

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Kyrie Irving's right knee sprain isn't serious and expected to be day-to-day. He also added a couple assists to Montrezl Harrell in the first few minutes of play, finishing with 12 points in just 20 minutes of action.

Irving was playing defense during Boston's game against the Los Angeles Clippers and came up a bit gimpy, running into a screen from Danilo Gallinari as he was trying to close out on an attempted three by Garrett Temple.

The Boston Celtics are now dominating the Los Angeles Clippers at TD Garden.

"I mean, for me, it's not really about the loss", Morris said. "Guys are hanging their heads".

The Clippers have enjoyed plenty of bright spots during the season, but I wouldn't expect too much from them the rest of the season as they have no intentions to make the playoffs if the trade of Tobias Harris was anything to go by.

"I watch all these other teams in the league, guys up on the bench, up on the court; they're doing stuff that looks like they're enjoying their teammate's success, they're enjoying everything and they're playing together".

This is about the last thing the Boston Celtics needed.

With the trade deadline having passed, Morris said there are no more excuses for the Celtics, who dropped to 35-21 with the loss, fifth in the Eastern Conference standings, 6.5 games behind first-place Toronto, which has the best record in the National Basketball Association at 41-14. Now, Morris is calling on his teammates to put any drama behind them and focus on winning.

"For us to be a championship team, man, this shit has to change", Morris said. "Win, lose, or draw - you're going to lose games - but if we have no attitude, we have no toughness, we're not having's going to be a long season". Whatever it takes, I'm with it. If they want to take me out of the starting lineup, get some juice in there, I'm with it. No one's getting traded; trade deadline is over.
