The Ohio College Republican Federation has apologized for an email labeling Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) as a "domestic terrorist", following an outcry, Salon reports.

"You refuse to cosponsor the 9/11 Victim's Compensation Fund, yet have the audacity to drum resentment towards Ilhan w/completely out-of-context quotes", she tweeted in an attempt to deflect from Omar's 9/11 comments.

Yahoo News' Editor-In-Chief Dan Klaidman also asked Ocasio-Cortez whether she might one day run for higher office herself.

Stepping into the dustup, Ocasio-Cortez tweeted: "In 2018, right-wing extremists were behind nearly ALL US domestic terrorist killings. Why don't you go do something about that?" she demanded.

"This puts me in danger every time", Ocasio-Cortez said, retweeting a screenshot of the email's subject line.

Crenshaw was, of course, referring to Omar saying about 9/11 during a speech for CAIR that "some people who did something". Among those was Ocasio Cortez, who tweeted a scathing attack on the Afghanistan war veteran.

Washington Free Beacon editor in chief Matthew Continetti said Friday that the Democratic majority in the House is "in jeopardy" if freshman Reps.

"She parachuted into a congressional district she doesn't even represent and led the parade of grandstanding politicians to tank the deal", Papazian said.

In the same tweet, Ocasio-Cortez pins threats she has received on Republicans, asking, "GOP, what's it going to take to stop?"

After the Texas Republican replied that it is "unbelievable" that a member of Congress would describe "terrorists who killed thousands of Americans" in such a manner, Omar called on leaders of both parties to join her in "condemning" Crenshaw's "dangerous incitement".

In appearing to be the new Fox Business and Fox News "boogeyman" replacement for former USA presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has - unlike her predecessors - deftly handled ongoing ham-handed tactics by conservative lawmakers and media to get her to keep quiet, according to The Guardian.

The 29-year-old congresswoman stunned the political world when she defeated 10-term incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley in the Democratic primary last year, becoming the youngest woman ever to serve in Congress. Democrats should call out his bullshit. A former reporter for McClatchy's Miami Herald, she also spent several years covering the White House.
