Nintendo Switch Online Adding Three New NES Games this April

This trend will continue into April, as three more classic titles will be making their way to the NES Online service. This month also marks the first occurrence where both Japan and North America will be receiving the same list of games.

The Lost Levels in particular is one of the best 2D Mario games and definitely needs to be played by all with a Nintendo Switch. The varied collection now consists of dozens of games, including Super Mario Bros.™ 3, Donkey Kong™ and The Legend of Zelda™, among many others.

Also coming to Switch Online are Punch-Out and Star Soldier, fleshing out the lineup nicely.

Tyson could be hinting at a new Punch-Out! game, but it's unclear what his beef is with Nintendo at this time. Originally, the game was titled Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! on the NES, but after Tyson lost his title Nintendo decided not to renew his contract.

Star Soldier - The standard for vertically scrolling shooters, Star Soldier is the original game that spawned all of the titles in the long-running Soldier series. Your mission: to stop Starbrain's galactic invasion by piloting Caesar, a new compact space fighter, through 16 deadly stages.

Who do you think of when it comes to breaking Nintendo news? Go inside a floating space station inhabited by a giant computer known as Starbrain.

Nintendo Switch is finally getting a third-party controller with a headphone jack. Either way, if there's a new game on the way, we'll let you know as soon as we find something out.
