American Singer Britney Jean Spears is not going back to Las Vegas for another residency and may not be able to perform again in the near future says her manager Larry Rudolph.
Larry Rudolph, her manager, said that it now isn't healthy for the 37-year-old to perform live or work on her Las Vegas residency, TMZ reported on May 14.
"From what I have gathered it's clear to me she should not be going back to do this Vegas residency, not in the near future and possibly never again".
He said Spears two-thirds of the way through rehearsals for a Vegas reboot when her father got ill late past year. I simply said that the Vegas residency is now officially off and that she hasn't called me in months to talk about doing anything so I'm not sure if or when she will ever want to work again.
"It was the flawless storm", Rudolph said.
The "Piece of Me" singer confirmed she was on a work hiatus amid father's illness. And, if she ever does want to work again, I am here to tell her if it is a good idea or not, " he said.
Since that time, Britney and her mother (Lynne Spears) appeared in court during a closed hearing to have their concerns addressed.
He said she wanted to tour previous year, adding that she hasn't contacted him in months.
"There is now a social media campaign called "#FreeBritney", which was set up by her fans in a bid to free her of her conservatorship. "I'm her manager", he added. "She's putting herself ahead of everyone else, and I'm proud of her for that".
Rudolph and a rep for Spears did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. She checked into a treatment facility in late March. "Crickets. She clearly doesn't want to perform now".
"Last summer, when she wanted to tour, she called me every day". It's very emotional for me. and really rough. I look at her nearly like I look at my own daughter.
"Rudolph says that "[Britney] is the one whose focus is on on [getting better]. "It's not about a career anymore - it's about life".
"Just checking in with all of you who are concerned about me. He allows the boys to spend time with Britney, but it's at his discretion". "She was excited", Rudolph told TMZ.
