OnePlus phones are deleting speed dial contacts company promises fix

OnePlus 7 Pro and One Plus 7 to launch on May 14

While QHD+ OLED panels in smartphones are nothing new, the 90Hz refresh rate means the OnePlus 7 Pro will feel notably smoother than nearly every other smartphone in the market. Wired's Jeffrey Van Camp called it "excellent", highlighting how the 90Hz refresh rate makes animations look smoother than you're used to seeing.

The design of the OnePlus 7 Pro builds on the OnePlus 6 and 6T from a year ago. The handset features a QHD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone measures 8.8mm in thickness and weights 206 grams.

OnePlus" mantra has always been "Never Settle, ' but despite how good its previous phones have been, it's always seemed like the company has been compromising just a little bit to achieve its near-midrange pricing. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 system-on-chip, 4,000 mAh battery with Warp fast charge technology support.

OnePlus are breaking tradition and for the first time are set to launch two new Android smartphones at simultaneous events across the globe.

The internals of the OnePlus 7 Pro also lives up to its "pro" name.

You can get the Sandstone OnePlus 7 Pro protective case for $29.95 and the Karbon OnePlus 7 Pro protective case for $34.95. Here are the best OnePlus 7 Pro cases you can now purchase.

The butterfingers-friendly module automatically retracts in a "fraction of a second" when it detects being in free-fall, which OnePlus was keen to demonstrate on stage.

There's OxygenOS based on Android 9.0 Pie. As for the battery, there's a 4000mAh unit underneath.

They also have a similar design - unlike the OnePlus 7 Pro there's no pop-up selfie camera here, so you get a small teardrop notch at the top of the screen on both the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 6T, with a slim strip of bezel below the screen as well.

As far as cameras go, the OnePlus 7 Pro features the company's first triple-camera lens setup.

On the front, OnePlus has added a 16MP Sony IMX471 shooter and can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.

Out of the box, the phone offers 5CA, 4*4 MIMO, Cat.18 LTE modem which can deliver download speeds of up to 1.2 Gbps.

The OnePlus 7 Pro will be available starting on Amazon.in, oneplus.in, all OnePlus exclusive offline stores, all Reliance Digital outlets, MyJio stores and Croma outlets.

The price tags range from £699 to £799 or $669 to $749 for the OnePlus 7 Pro, depending on the RAM and storage configuration. The mid-range option features 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

We didn't quite have the landscapes that OnePlus' on-stage guest, a National Geographic photographer, had at her disposal, but photos taken at the event were very impressive - sharp, clear and popping but with natural colours. The Regular 7, on the other hand, has the same waterdrop notch as the OnePlus 6T. OnePlus also plans to release a 5G version of the phone through EE after its 5G service launches. It includes a precise cutout on top for the pop-up front camera and there's even a built-in lanyard hole on the side so you can connect it to wrist straps or neck straps.

And its chipset too, the Snapdragon 855 beast.

The OnePlus 7 is going on sale in June in the United Kingdom, where it will cost £499 (roughly $645/AU$930) for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, or £549 (around $710/AU$1,025) for 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
