Ubisoft: Gods And Monsters Coming To Nintendo Switch 25th February 2020

Gods & Monsters has been announced by Ubisoft during E3 2019, with the project now in development by the same team that created Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

From the creators of Assassin's Creed® Odyssey comes a storybook adventure about a forgotten hero on a quest to save the Greek gods. Players will explore the Isle of the Blessed and prove their heroism as they face risky mythological creatures, including fearsome Gorgons and Harpies and mighty Cyclopes.

Gods & Monsters, at its very heart, is inarguably influenced by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Those services include Google Stadia and Ubisoft's own newly announced subscription service, Uplay+.

Once you've made something you can save it, and other players - on any platform - can add it to their game.

More than any previous Assassin's Creeds, Odyssey delved into myths, even throwing legendary creatures in our way and sending us down into Hades, but it looks like that hasn't scratched the team's itch for mythology. He said that after working on Assassin's Creed Odyssey for the past four years, the team couldn't stop thinking about mythological creatures and their iconic stories.

Players will be tasked with helping the Greek gods regain the throne of Olympus, having been thrown down by the deadliest of all monsters, Typhon.

Will you be picking up Gods and Monsters when it launches on February 25, 2020?

The cinematic trailer gives you an idea of the animation style Ubisoft is going for as well as a little bit of the action players might expect as a female warrior leaps through the air and hacks apart an angry harpy.
