There must have been some confusion at the bakery when Kensli Davis placed an order for a birthday cake. She had requested a cake with the theme of "Moana", an animated Disney movie from 2016.

Kensli ended up blowing out the candles on a cake emblazoned with a giant cannabis leaf, green and white icing, and a My Little Pony character complete with bloodshot eyes and a joint protruding from its muzzle. "I'll just get a regular ice cream cake if I have to", Davis said.

Posting pictures of the cake on Facebook, Kensli wrote, "I haven't had a chance to tell y'all about our experience this weekend with my birthday cake".

"I was very shocked (but) it was hilarious to me", she said.

Davis' mother had called and ordered the cake from a local Georgia Dairy Queen. (Because really I do).

"These people thought she said marijuana", Ms Davis wrote.

Ms Davis later told U.S. news outlet WMAZ she believed the bakery misunderstood her mum because of her accent.

The person who made this cake may have had some other things on their mind than Disney princesses.

The post is a hit on social media, racking up more than 11,000 shares. My friends were insisting that I didn't take it out - they found it hilarious, asking whether they should sit on it or eat it.
