Eddie Murphy & More Announced to Host Saturday Night Live

The following week, Fleabag star/creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge will make her SNL debut on October 5, with Taylor Swift performing on the musical stage.

Swift has appeared on "Saturday Night Live" twice before.

"Saturday Night Live" will continue to air live coast-to-coast this season (at 11:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m PT).

Eddie Murphy, who worked on the show as a cast member from 1980 to 1984. Murphy will host the holiday show on December 21, per CNN. This will be Swift's third turn as musical guest.

The feud began with jokes made about Murphy on the show-including one by David Spade, who was in the cast at the time, that referred to him as "a falling star". It's unknown whether she will be joined by her collaborator and rumored beau, Shawn Mendes, for their song, "Señorita", though the two will be performing the hit at the VMAs.

Other hosts announced thus far include "Stranger Things" star David Harbour and "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart.

Eddie Murphy will be returning to a place that helped launch his career - "Saturday Night Live". No musical guest has been announced just yet, unless of course Stewart has decided to make this the debut of her singing career.

"SNL" kicks off what will be its 45th season on September 28 with host Woody Harrelson and musical guest Billie Eilish. In addition to the SNL episode, he'll also star in the Netflix film My Name Is Dolemite as Rudy Ray Moore.

Stewart's return to Saturday Night Live comes three years after she created a viral moment on the sketch series by dropping an f-bomb during the show.
