Iain Lee has appeared to confirm the first three celebrity Strictly Come Dancing stars as he claimed Jamie Laing, Anneka Rice will be appearing on this year's show.

UPDATE: YouTuber Saffron Barker has been confirmed as the fourth contestant, as revealed on Heart Radio this morning.

He said he had been asked to do Strictly a few times but was talked into it by former contestant Mark Foster.

She said: "I am really excited to go on the Strictly journey and am feeling very grateful for the opportunity!"

The 19-year-old, who is the latest star to join the Strictly Come Dancing line-up, posted a video of herself moaning about he situation and rolling her eyes.

He added he was "really excited" to be chosen and had "some big shoes to fill" following previous appearances by sports stars.

Only William Hill do not have James - who was known as "Calamity James" during his playing career - as their backmarker, the firm instead bestowing that burden upon comedian Chris Ramsey, best known for his own show, The Chris Ramsey Show, on Comedy Central. Revealed as a Strictly contestant: Emma was the third contestant of the 2019 series to be revealed when she appeared on The One Show on July 31.

And YouTube star Saffron Barker has been confirmed as the next celebrity to join the glitzy lineup.

"I'm looking forward to learning all of the dances", she added.

Strictly Come Dancing star Saffron Barker was at the centre of a controversy a year ago.

Latin dancer Nancy Xu will replace the outgoing Pasha Kovalev as a professional dancer on the show.

In a further shake up on the show, pro dancer Oti Mabuse's sister Motsi will be joining the panel following Darcy Bussell's exit from the programme.

This year, however, fans were given an early treat as not one but three celebrities were announced on Wednesday's episode of The One Show.

Xu was a finalist on So You Think You Can Dance? in her home country of China and performed in hit West End and Broadway show Burn The Floor.
