Donald Trump vowed this week to release the transcript of his phone call with Ukraine's leader.

Meanwhile, Trump took to Twitter to rap Democrats in the most Trumpian style.

The Wall Street Journal reported that on July 25, Trump in a telephone conversation with President Zelensky tried to persuade him to initiate an investigation into Hunter Biden - Joe Biden's son and that the USA president "was suggesting him to work with attorney Rudy Giuliani on the investigation into Hunter Biden".

Trump mentioned Biden several times during the call as he described allegations that, as vice president, Biden had pushed to oust Ukraine's top prosecutor to help a company his son was working for - claims that have been discredited. I have been patient while we tried every other path and used every other tool.

Pelosi didn't say what position she'll take or what announcement she may make after that conference when she appeared on Tuesday afternoon at an Atlantic Magazine event in Washington.

It comes as the US House of Representatives is set to launch a formal impeachment inquiry into President Trump over reports he sought to smear his political rival.

The document is a summary of the phone call and not a verbatim transcript of the conversation. They have also demanded to see a complaint filed by a government whistleblower that initiated the investigation against Trump and have begun efforts to interview the whistleblower, an unidentified member of the intelligence community, in person as soon as Thursday.

McConnell, one of Trump's closest congressional allies, characterized the inquiry as part of an ongoing vendetta - a "two-and-a-half-year impeachment parade", he wrote in his statement - against the president.

Trump also confirmed that he ordered his staff to freeze almost $400 million in aid to Ukraine a few days before the call. "It would be an invitation to the enemies of the United States to come after any citizen so long as they happen to disagree with the President", Rose said.

The funds were frozen before Trump pressed the new Ukrainian presidentto investigate a leading Democratic presidential candidate, former vice president Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden.

Trump told Zelensky he would have Giuliani give him a simply call, and also have Attorney Typical William Barr connect with "to the base of it".

"Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into sounds terrible to me", Trump said, according to the memo. He publicly asked Russian Federation to find missing Hillary Clinton emails in 2016, but this is his first documented time doing so while president with the weight of the USA government at his disposal.

"I asked Attorney General Barr in May: did the White House ever ask him to investigate anyone?" The administration has so far refused to turn over the complaint to congress.
