"The rain will die out and become light and patchy as it clears across the South early on Friday, and temperatures are likely to be a few degrees lower, but just briefly", said Sky News' Isobel Lang. High temperatures will stay in the mid-to-upper 90s through the remainder of the workweek.

By Sunday, the disturbance will be west or northwest of Florida with maybe some lingering effects.
"Environmental conditions could become a little more favorable for development when the disturbance moves near the Bahamas and Florida late this week", said the NHC in its 8 a.m. advisory. It has a 20% chance of development over five days.
The first was about 650 miles east of the Lesser Antilles and had a 10 percent chance of development but is expected to move into an area that will be unfavorable for it to organize.
Currently, however, four tropical systems are being closely monitored including Tropical Storm Gabrielle in the North Atlantic.
A surface trough located over the Turks and Caicos continues to produce widespread cloudiness and disorganized thunderstorms across the southeastern Bahamas.
The Bahamas was just hit last week by Hurricane Dorian, which made landfall as a catastrophic Category 5 storm.
The tropical wave located between the west coast of Africa and the Cabo Verde islands is forecast to move quickly westward during the next several days. It will be one to watch but it will take more than a week to truly develop. Chances increase to 60% within the next five days.
