The "Party In The USA" singer stated yesterday that she suffered from tonsillitis yesterday, and in the present day it seems as if the state of affairs bought worse, which led to her searching for therapy. Beside her mattress sat a large bouquet of shiny sunflowers and roses with an enormous balloon that stated, "I love you on it".

The star is now believed to be romancing Cody Simpson, who was featured in another one of her Instagram story posts from hospital, after he came to visit her.

Despite the pair's recent PDA sighting and online flirting, a source told ET that Cyrus and Simpson have "no plans to start dating each other exclusively". She referred to Simpson as her boyfriend and called the singer "sweet" in another post. "Send gooooood vibes my way!"

Cyrus explained she was keen to recover before a weekend charity event in aid of global conservation efforts, which will be hosted by USA talk show host Ellen DeGeneres in Hollywood on Saturday.
