Natalya and Lacey Evans React to Making History in Saudi Arabia

WWE Saudi Arabia To Host First Women's Match

WWE to hold historic first-ever women's wrestling match in Saudi Arabia

PW Insider reports that "the word making the rounds" among stranded Superstars is that they have a new flight arranged.

It wasn't actively insulting to fans' intelligence like other prior Saudi events, even if WWE's seemingly inevitable failure to capitalise on the crowd-pleasing outcome of the main event will likely make it all seem worse in retrospect. Women in Saudi Arabia require permission from a husband or father to do basically anything, including undergo medical procedures and travel outside of the country.

WWE is working to get their Superstars home from Saudi Arabia and they might have a plan.

The recent Crown Jewel 2019 event made history, but it has also left a lot of WWE superstars stuck in Saudi Arabia. The delay occurred due to various mechanical issues that prevented a 757 charter flight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from leaving the airport on time.

Viewers can watch SmackDown episodes on FOX on Friday nights at 8/7c.

Both Evans and Neidhart had to wear full-body covering for their contest, while Neidhart had a bottle thrown at her during her entrance.

WWE Champion Brock Lesnar vs Cain Velasquez - Lesnar and Velaquez's rivalry started in 2010 when latter easily defeated "The Beast" to become the UFC Heavyweight Champion.

The morality of that deal was brought into sharp focus following the grisly death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul on October 2 2018. As announced by the WWE earlier, SmackDown will feature many segments and matches including a match between Roman Reigns and King Baron Corbin.

If you're curious, WWE Crown Jewel is now showing in the WWE Network.

The debut edition of the show drew 3.8million viewers, however last week's move to FS1 due to the World Series saw SmackDown attract a pitiful audience of 888,000.
