Rage Against the Machine Announce 2020 Reunion Shows

Report: Rage Against The Machine will reform to headline Coachella 2020

Less than 24 hours after My Chemical Romance announced a reunion show for this December, Rage Against the Machine have unveiled their own reunion plans.

The iconic alternative band that has inspired generations of hip hop, heavy metal and political rebellion has announced five concerts in 2020, including two shows at next year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

The news broke with a mysterious Instagram post from a newly acquired handle. Their Coachella headline set will then take place on the weekends of April 10 and April 17.

The same photo was also shared by guitarist Tom Morello four days earlier but without the tour dates.

The sporadic nature of Rage Against the Machine's activity since disbanding seemed to be tied closely with Presidential election season.

The full lineup for the 2020 Coachella Music Festival has not yet been revealed.

Rage posted the list of dates on social media along with a photo of the recent Chilean protests.

According to Consequence Of Sound, an unverified Instagram account announced reunion dates for the band that are exclusively along the border of Mexico and America.

A spokesperson for Rage - which went on hiatus again in 2011 after a series of reunion shows - could not be reached for comment at press time.
