Colts fall to Titans 31-17 after 4th quarter implosion

It looked like the Colts might regain the lead in the fourth quarter, but Dane Cruikshank blocked Adam Vinatieri's field goal attempt. Jacoby Brissett can hardly say the same.

It continues a season of struggles for the 46-year-old.

Titans: Finish a two-game road trip next Sunday at Oakland. The special teams were absolute trash the entire game, and have been all season. Brissett finished Sunday's game completing 25-of-40 passes for 319 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions for a 74.9 overall passer rating. In the past, this is a game the Titans would have surrendered to their division rival even though the deck was heavily stacked against the Colts because of their injuries.

Henry has also joined Pro Bowl Hall of Famers Jim Brown, OJ Simpson, Eric Dickerson, and Adrian Peterson as being the only 5 runnings backs in National Football League history to rush for over 145 yards in three consecutive games.

For as well as the Colts played in the first half, they came away with only 10 points after starting two of their five possessions inside Titans territory and one on their own 41.

Vinatieri missed three kicks, two of them being blocked. Predictably, it cost them later.

There were some important lessons we learned about the Tennessee Titans during their Week 13 win against the Indianapolis Colts.

As banged up as the Colts were on offense entering Sunday, the defense knew it was going to need to step up if they were going to win. And three of those points were handed to Tennessee on a silver platter by Brissett.

Backup corner/safety Rolan Milligan was the guilty party on that play. He rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown, his third game in a row with more than 140 rushing yards. He was filling in for an injured Kenny Moore (ankle).
