Epic Family Feud Fail Nabs Contestant $10K in Chicken

This 'Family Feud Canada' Contestant Thought Popeye's Favourite Food Was Chicken

Waterloo family part of viral Family Feud moment

Her answer, hilariously accompanied by a little dance, left her family stunned. Family Feud Canada's host, Gerry Dee, called on Eve and Logan White to represent their respective families in the single question face-off.

Eve Dubois may have dashed her family's chances at $10,000 and embarrassed herself on Canadian TV, but at least she'll have some chicken!

The restaurant made headlines past year with the introduction of its very-in-demand chicken sandwich, which caused long lines outside its locations, and even fights - at least one of them fatal.

The audience reaction was a mix of groans and uproarious laughter; the rest of the Dubois family clutched their head in disbelief while one managed an "Oh my God", as the smugness on Eve's face dissolved to one of confusion. But instead of giving the answer for the famous cartoon sailor - spinach - her mind went to the fast food chain known for a much different meal.

"That's the best. Chicken", Dee laughs as he does Eve's dance.

The Tomlin family immediately buzzes in with the correct answer to secure their win, but all social media users could talk about was Dubois' gaffe. As it turns out, she was the only one on the planet with that answer, as the answer board showed a big red X when asked, "Show me chicken!" He was correct, and the Tomlins advanced to the Fast Money round.

I would like to start off by saying that I had no idea that there was a Canada Family Feud.

Eve was first to the buzzer with her answer. Whoever gets it, you're playing for $10,000.

It only took a few moments for Dubois to realize her mistake, flashing the camera a large wide-eyed look of disbelief at the silly revelation.

Although the on-air goof may have caused some embarrassment, Dubois will walk away with $10,000 worth of Popeyes after catching the eye of Popeyes Chicken.

The contestant also thanked the company on Twitter for its offer.
