Sixers forward Joel Embiid suffered a nasty-looking finger injury this past Monday.
BOSTON has been Philadelphia's bogey team in recent years but the 76ers have turned the tables this season and Ben Simmons did his best to ensure it stayed that way when the teams faced off again on Friday (AEDT).
"Nobody's crying. This is not a "woe-is-me" moment", 76ers head coach Brett Brown told reporters Thursday.
"I felt my finger snap and I thought I had broken it", said Embiid.
After a month where Simmons has had backhanded swipes from his own Philadelphia 76ers teammate Joel Embiid on his three-point shooting, the 23-year-old Aussie has been linked with a blockbuster move to the Golden State Warriors, where he'd be alongside Steph Curry.
"There were a couple of times I could have grabbed with both hands but I just couldn't".
As usual, we'll take a deeper look at one statistic and all of the factors that play a part in that number, while trying to figure out what's real and what likely won't withstand the test of time.
He suffered a gruesome dislocation and left for the locker room after the injury. Today's topic is the Sixers' offensive productivity without Embiid.
He didn't pick up a basketball until he was a teenager, when a friend informed him that very few 7-footers succeed in soccer. But as of now, Embiid will be evaluated in one to two weeks. "What's best for him and his future".
