Safety inspectors out to all B.C. mills
Premier Christy Clark was in the Comox Valley and Campbell River to make hospital announcements but she also addressed the Saw mill explosions.
Clark says the province will be sending out an inspector to every single mill in B.C.
"They are are going to be looking for commonalities, issues around safety, explain Clark. "We are going to address them as soon as they find them."
In the meantime, Clark said it was too early to connect the Saw mill explosions as originating from the same cause. She also says there is no timeline for when Work Safe B.C. will finish their investigation.
" I don't think any worker in British Columbia will be better off if we rush the results.,"added Clark. "It needs to be done right and we need to make sure the answers we get out of the report are accurate."
Three months have passed since the Burns Lake mill explosion and no findings have been publicly released.
