The countdown is on for the class of 2012.

Graduates of Highland Secondary are looking forward to their turn in a school tradition: the Grad Classic Car Cruise.

The parade leaves Highland, does a run around town, helping the students arrive in style at their graduation ceremony at the Filberg Centre.

"We have a lot of grads who are interested in being part of that parade, but unfortunately we're very short on vintage cars," explained Tonia Frawley, vice chair of the Highland PAC.

"If you have a classic car in your family, or know of someone who does and would like to participate in the car cruise, please contact Mr. Schilling at the school by phoning 250-339-5525, or Scott Park, parent organizer at 250-339-9525."

The Highland graduation and car cruise are set for Saturday, May 26.
